Youve been on my mind a lot because I hadn’t seen any posts. Also because you have had an impact on me. Working through endless grief of losing a beloved family member is exhausting. It brings up so many other layers of insights, sometimes so quickly that we can hardly catch a breath. You are of another realm in the universe, in the most beautiful ways. Offering me the words to what I witness in my life. Thank you and stay safe my friend❤️
What a harrowing story—not to romanticize it, but to recognize its power. I haven’t worked in over 5 years, even through periods of being more functioning than when I left my last job. It’s just not worth it and I am extreeeeeemly privileged to say that, I know. The things having a job demands, practical and social skills, are just too much even when the storm seems calm.
What a beautiful thing to work so hard to honor the you now and the young you who needed someone to work hard for her.
As always, you take your trauma and write about it so masterfully. I’m glad you have a full toolbox and that you used it. And I am so glad that you decided to walk yourself home. Please keep using all your tools, your friends, family, Tug, the daddy. There are so many people who love you and care about you. ❤️
Love you, miss Waffles but Tug has your back like all of us. You’re an amazing person, even all the messy parts, and we all have those. Be well my dear, as best you know how. Love and hugs.
Thank you for sharing this with us, and I’m so so sorry this week has been so hard. I’m so glad you have a network around you who listen and support, even when they don’t understand. I have a horrible discomfort at the moment too, but mine is sort of the other way: I’ve realised I don’t think I ever knew who I was. ‘Little me’ is unfamiliar, but I know they’re definitely scared, and they’ve been lonely for a long long time. Your bravery over the years has helped me start to sit with the discomfort, and start learning how to feel safe anyway. 💖
Thank you 💜💜 so much. And as absolutely crazy as it sounds, I am weirdly not sorry I had such a hard week. I of course wish it could have been easy or easier but the hard was because i was choosing me fully. It was all growing pains. I wish i could say it wasn’t messy and I felt fabulous now though! Haha
As for the discomfort you are living — how incredible you are to notice it!! That’s the beginning of it all — the listening deep inside. So proud of you listening 💜💜
So much love to you, Kate. I also left a career to keep myself, and it was both excruciating and necessary and ultimately good. Will be thinking of you. 💛

Sending calm ❤️
Keep going on this hard fought journey, Kate. You have someone very important to meet and she needs you. ❤️🌹

Thank you Kirsten. And that’s exactly it — keeping myself. Thank you for those words and leading the way 💜
