Love the photos and the depth of field play to literally visualize a shift in perspective. Thanks for taking us alongside this season of slow blooming and unknown of what will be.
So happy you're still here with us. If you're questioning your purpose, you're fulfilling it each and every day. Even in the darkness. For where there's darkness there is also light. 💜💜💜
I appreciate finding peace in nature and with our common beings, our dogs. I’m about to leave my 13yo precious pup for a week… a necessary trip but still… we will both feel it. So feel the air on your face and the ground firmly beneath your feet and know that you are an integral part of the earth and it’s ever changing seasons. With love….
As I said, your poetry is reminiscent of Mary Oliver or Wendell Berry -- so comforting to read, and I hope it was comforting to write. And the photos! I'd forgotten (as had you, probably) what a gifted photographer you are. Little signs, like Spring, that maybe a few things are turning a little corner, warming up with the seasons?

Love you, Kate. Always so thankful for as little and a large as you share. Also…. Waffy’s smile in that photo is EVERYTHING. 💜💜💜 Much love to you. Xox

Beautifully written, Kate. Thanks for reminding me that a shift in perspective is possible. 💜

"Yes,
I have seasons too
And that doesn’t make me less
That doesn’t make me broken
It makes me alive"
I needed this reminder as a new mama💜
