I see you. I’m so sorry for your pain and I’m grateful you write so eloquently about it. I understand about seeing the impact of your pain in your dad. My experience was very different but equally disquieting when my parents saw me through yet another failed attempt at one thing or another, making At hope and enthusiasm for me.

Kate, this story of you and your father really hits home for me. I can very much relate to recognizing the wear of life on your father’s face and demeanor. Thanks so much for sharing your story with us! It is truly a gift 💜

Algorithm be darned! Thank you for asking us, I love to know ways to help out writers, esp free ways, and often forget to do these simple things.

Love the physiological sigh. Often picture Violet Beauregard as I inflate. And love this idea of listing ways to stretch and reanimate!

Intrigued by the Healing Lab! Not sure yet whether I’ll be joining in much but I’m definitely interested…

Also moving! Starting a trial separation from my husband of 18 years… ahh, life.

I’m weeping from this piece!! When I read your work it’s from so many perspectives…Mother first and foremost, woman, sister, friend, follower and learner!!! I’m glad you “stayed” Kate ❤️💜

Kate, your writing is so deeply emotive and descriptive. I can see and feel you looking at your dad with realization. We all have those moments, but we all CAN NOT put them on paper (or computer) like you can. Thank you for sharing that beautiful talent with us while teaching and enlightening the world to the intricacies of mental illness. Just love you friend…and thank you
