Today, I am delighted to share my wonderful father with you all. To me, my father is exactly that — my dad. He is the man who taught me to love and persevere in the great outdoors no matter the weather and endowed me with a passion for music as well as a deep respect for its power in healing and building community. He is also the best coffee cake baker, French braider, and handyman I know. And above all, he is the role model I look to when ‘I think of kind curiosity and how to use it as I move through the world.
In addition to being all of those incredible things, professionally, he is known as a renowned health policy researcher and fierce advocate for improving the health care system. Widely celebrated for his work on the Affordable Care Act, he continues to work to this day as a tenured faculty at Dartmouth.
